What can I expect from a Soccer Shots session?

Soccer Shots is a weekly 30-minute soccer session that teaches the game of soccer by focusing on basic skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. The session is broken up into five sections: warm-up, skill, fun game, score a goal, and a scrimmage (modified for the younger ones). Through these fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active!

What equipment will my child need to participate?

Your child doesn’t need any special equipment – comfy clothes and sneakers are fine. Cleats and shin guards are not necessary. Our coaches will provide all the equipment needed at each session – soccer balls, goals, etc. (At public programs we do recommend bringing a water bottle.)

Will I receive a Soccer Shots jersey?

Jerseys are mailed out once per year when the annual enrollment fee is paid – please make sure you enter your most up to date mailing address when enrolling.

What is your inclement weather/makeup policy?

• Seasonal Childcare Centers
  • We will make up a session either by finding another day of the week that works for the school and our coach, or we will add a week onto the season.
• Public programs/half-day preschools
  • We monitor the weather the best we can and will notify you via text and email if we need to cancel a session. If a session is canceled, we will add the canceled class to the end of the Season. We will do our best to make up all sessions canceled.
